World of Beauty

Beyond the Eyes

A form of photography capturing art that is created, too fast or is too small for the human eye to register. Using stop-action photography, at a speed of 1/64,000 of a second allows us to observe this world, of beauty, at our leisure.

About Kristina

A World of Beauty Beyond the Eyes

I started into the realm of photography in 2005 photographing products for my company. I became fascinated with the combination of light vs speed and found myself wanting to capture the smallest of life's beauty.

Macro Photography began my discovery of all things unseen by the naked eye and photographing common everyday objects that compel the viewer to see something new and unexpected.

Kristina works with water, collision water, paint, oil, light and smoke. She presents her work at Juried Art Shows and is part-owner of the CCA Gallery (Co-op of 34 Indiana Artists) on Main St., Carmel. IN

As a Fine Art Photographer, I see my images as the canvas and post processing as my color palette.

I Do Not: Use post processing software to edit my photos, meaning I do not ADD or TAKE AWAY any elements in the photograph. What you see is the image captured by the camera in its entirety.

I Do: retouch my images to adjust exposure, contrast, remove dust spots and balance color to make the image the best it can be.
